Ms. Amy Glenn
School Board Member, District 5

Bio
Amy Glenn lived in Randolph, Ohio until the age of 17 when she moved to Okeechobee Florida with her mother and younger brothers. After graduating from Okeechobee High School in 2015, her family moved to the Florida Panhandle and she began attending Colorado Technical University for accounting. She moved to Barbour County in 2011 after meeting her husband Johnny Glenn of Texasville. Their five children currently attend Barbour County Schools. Amy volunteers with BCHS marching band and the flag team. One of her strongest beliefs is “with education anything is possible.” That belief is the reason she decided to run for office for Barbour County Board of Education. She is currently serving as the board member for District 5 and feels truly grateful to have the opportunity to help make a difference in the lives of all the students of Barbour County Schools. Amy currently works for H&R Block in Ozark as a Tax Analyst. She strives to learn something new everyday because education is so ingrained into her life. In her free time, she enjoys spending time at home with her family and reading.
