Dr. Floyd Smith has been elected Fellow of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AIChE), one of the highest professional honors in the field, reserved for individuals with distinguished careers and significant contributions to chemical engineering. Fewer than five percent of AIChE members are selected for this distinction, reflecting Dr. Floyd Smith’s decades of leadership, scholarship, and service in engineering education and accreditation.
