Barbour County Schools – Delayed Start Notice
Barbour County Schools will operate on a two-hour delayed start on Tuesday, January 27, 2026.
School will begin at 10:00 a.m.
Buses will run their usual routes two hours later than normal.
Please ensure children are dressed appropriately for cold weather.
A grab-and-go breakfast will be offered upon student arrival.
There will be no after-school program on this day.
Please plan accordingly and stay safe.

Now enrolling K–8th grade students! Join us January 20 – March 19, Tuesdays & Thursdays, 3:00–4:30 p.m. at Barbour County Elementary and High Schools.
Students will enjoy academic support in reading and math, plus fun enrichment activities like STEM, sports, and creative learning, all in a safe, supportive environment. Snacks and transportation provided!
